Inviting Suggestions for Systemic Improvements in Government Organizations from Citizens
Central Vigilance Commission, at the outset of Vigilance Awareness Week, has launched a new initiative for citizens to suggest systemic improvements in Central Government Organisations.
These suggestions may be sent directly to the Central Vigilance Commission from 27.10.2020 to 14.11.2020 by email (coord1-cvc@nic.in) or telephone (011-24651632).
Citizens who wish to give suggestions for Systemic Improvements in General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) can write to cord-suggestions@gicofindia.com. till 14.11.2020.
The particulars of any arrangement that exist for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public, in relation to the formulation of policy or implementation thereof
The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes

“The documents which can be accessed and downloaded from the GIC Re’s website are available and held by General Insurance Corporation of India in electronic form.”
The Transfers of Officers of GIC are governed by provisions of para 12 of the General Insurance (Rationalization of Pay Scales and Other Conditions of Service of Officers) Scheme, 1975.
The Transfers of Supervisory, Clerical and Sub-Ordinate Staff of GIC are governed by provisions of para 18 of the General Insurance (Rationalisation and Revision of Pay Scales and Other Conditions of Service of Supervisory, Clerical and Sub-Ordinate Staff) Scheme, 1974.
The transfers are also governed by provisions of Section 22 of the General Insurance Business Nationalization Act 1972 as amended vide GIBN(Amendment) ACT 2002.
For FY 2019-20, GIC Re has not laid any CAG & PAC paras and the Action Taken Reports (ATRs) on the table of both the houses of the Parliament. Therefore, Proactive disclosure on website under Section 4 of Right to Information Act, 2005, is not applicable for FY 2019-20.
